Fredlund quits Rageborne!
This Saturday “Peter Fredlund” announced that he wishes to part ways with Rageborne... This is a big blow, and it came somewhat unexpected - not to mention the timing, which (always) could have been better. It soon came to our attention that the decision was made a long time ago. Fredlund has posted the following statement:

A Very Tough Decision.
This Saturday I decided to leave Rageborne.
It was not an easy decision and I have thought about it for the last month and a half.
There has been a lot of changes in my life recently and with all that and a band who I personally believe will go far in the Danish Metal Scene I know I have to leave.
I simply lack the ambition and the thought of playing gigs every weekend and rehearsing in the week days doesn’t fit with where I am in life right now.
The dedication these guys are putting in to this band is amazing, and I can’t do the same at the moment.
I love playing music but I have always said that when I don’t think its fun anymore I’ll stop. And right now I’m not having any fun.
I look forward to standing on tha audience side of stage watching these guys ripping it on stage.
To Rageborne:
Thanks for all the good times.
And I wish you all the best in the future.

We are still trying to get hold of the matter, but when it all comes to the bottom-line - this has to be the best decision for the band! - Instead of taking this a pessimistic way, we have decided to move on strong with a no-hard-feelings approach to the matter, we try to see this issue as a better possibility for the future - for both parts… We are still very optimistic about 2008, and we will once again have to prove to you, that we can bear up with the pressure of loosing yet another guitarist…
Fredlund, we truly wish you the best for the future, and we hope to see you at our future concerts…!
To all other.... Stay put! - Our passion for metal is still intact and our ambitions likewise…. Rageborne is a band to stay, and we will struggle to get even better and more determined to reach our goals with every single hindrance! At this moment we are seeking Fredlund’s replacement – not an easy task, but until we find a suited guitarist, who most importantly, shares the same ambitions as ourselves, we will continue to produce new raging material!

Danish Metal Awards update
Hi everybody... Just a little report on the awards show...
The winner of this years talent of the year contest went to "Invisius" - congratz with the title from Rageborne!!!
Well, we had a great time at the show, and met a lot of cool guys!!! I'll have to mention the guys from Machine Head among others - it was fucking great - especially talking to Rob Flynn who I personally handed over a demo ha ha ;) One thing is the contest, but I tell you - this is a true mekka of getting new contacts for other artists and various people in the industry...
Bottomline - We had a blast of a time, we were drunk as hell, and I hope we'll get the opportunity to show up next year if we get "invited" once again ;)

Rageborne Update Oct. '07
Hey all.
I thought a little update was due since I wasnt able to go to rehearsal today.
Things are going great in Rageland, we've been nominated for The Talent Of The Year award at Danish Metal Awards, and a friend of ours from the band Dawn Of Demise told me that there would be free booze and backstage passes waiting for us... Hell yeah!
Kilic is currently working on some t-shirt designs, and I personally think they all look fucking awesome, so choosing the right metal design is gonna be hard. As usual I will vote for the t-shirt with the most skulls and flames... hehe.
A couple of new tunes is also on the way, a little melodic piece I've been working on at home, and a hard hittin' straight to your balls thing the other boys are working on i Herning. I've been a little short for cash the last couple of month so I havent been able to travel to Herning as often as I would like to... But that will change next month.
On November the 10th we'll be playing support for the to awesome bands, Scamp and Submission, I personally look forward to that 'cause both bands kick ass so much. That will be the first time I'll be performing on my new ENGL amp, the same amp Per uses... Get ready for a hard hittin' wall of guitars kicking your ass!!!
And I've heard rumors of a special guest vokal dude is going to join us, you know who you are...
Well thats it for now I think.
I'll check in with you all later when I feel like writing some more shiiiiiiiiiaaaaat.
